In the context of the 2016 EUNIC (European Union National Institutes for Culture) presidency of the Italian Cultural Institute dedicated to Protecting our Cultural Heritage, the Georgetown University Italian Research Institute, in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in Washington, D.C., and the Cultural Institute is sponsoring a conference on the critical work of conservation and restoration to protect and preserve our rich cultural heritage from ancient to renaissance to modern time.
